After arguing with her sister, Alice spots a White Rabbit and scurries after him. Then she slips down a rabbit hole and ends up in a strange, wondrous, and occasionally dangerous world. Can Alice escape the Queen of Hearts and return to life as usual? A whimsical and fast-paced adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic novel. Join us for this family favorite, 60 minute show performed by our Summer Academy students.

Recommended Ages: Family friendly, 5 years old & up

Studio for 10-13 Year Olds

Description

Join teaching artists Keith McGill, Meg Caudill, Zach Stone, and Tessa McShane to learn acting basics like pantomime, improvisation and scene work. This class is a great way for young people to learn new acting skills, or enhance skills they already have. This class is also an opportunity to sample what Commonwealth Theatre Center can offer students who join us in the Walden Theatre Conservatory.

Description

Improvisation teaches you to be your most creative self and trust your natural instincts. Join Artistic Director Charlie Sexton as he takes you through fun and engaging improvisation exercises, recreating a typical class in the Walden Theatre Conservatory at Commonwealth Theatre Center.
